NEW JOHNNY CASH "MAN IN BLACK" HOLLYWOOD MURAL
I am very pleased to add Johnny Cash as the newest mural in my Hollywood street gallery collection of murals. This perfectly executed mural is located on the corner of Hollywood Blvd. and Bronson, two blocks east of Vine St. on the side of Liquor to Go-Go Mini Market.

Nancy Sinatra was painted back in 1997 and was due for a re-touch
and here it is. What separates my murals from others is that they
get better with age...that's not bragging... it's just a fact. My next
objective is to re-locate Tony Curtis off the freeway to a new location, because I really don't want to spend the rest of my life cleaning graffiti off the thing.

FRANK SINATRA MURAL RESTORATION 2008
Murals come and they go and that's fine, but sometimes there is one or two that come along that you just can't let go of. Frank Sinatra is one of them. After the fire at the building it was painted on I knew Frank's days were numbered. So I went looking for a new wall to paint him on. I busted my ass for many months, all by myself , looking for a new location. Going around in circles, spinning my wheels, I sometimes felt, maybe this was the end of the road for Frank... but then one day, just like that,I found myself finishing up and sealing the mural... and Sinatra lives again!!!
I guess you really can't keep a good Italian down...

"The Crush Bar" in Hollywood. 60's and 70's Dance Hits. Great club, cheap ass owner. The cheap bastard would nickle and dime me to death. The club shut down a few years ago and has been replaced by a sushi bar...........

Julie Strain and her husband Kevin Eastman (Ninja Turtles and Heavy Metal magazine) were two real nice people to deal with. Unfortunately the building was torn down and turned into parking for the Kodak Theater.
Why did I decide to paint Tony Curtis on the freeway? The reasons are simple.. he's a great guy, funny as hell, and one of the last living links to "Classic Hollywood" He's definitely a winner. My decision,to paint him, was a good one.
